Paul Vachon is a Detroit-based freelance writer, specializing in local history, historical preservation and popular culture. He is the author of Forgotten Detroit, an engaging book that explores many of the lesser known stories within Detroits history. He has contributed to the Oakland Press and to Preservation Online. A lifelong Detroit-area resident, Paul considers writing about his hometown one of his greatest passions.
